In line with our green commitment, we are proud to announce that all Fell Tech products are wrapped using only cardboard and paper materials, eliminating all plastic in the packaging process. This choice is in line with our overall goal of reducing our environmental impact and encouraging industrial development in a greener direction.
We chose Smurfit Kappa, known for its commitment to environmental standards, as our packaging partner. They produce paper from sustainably harvested wood in Scandinavia and central Europe and their products are FSC® certified, which is a seal of approval for responsible forestry. In practice, this means that three new trees are planted for every tree we use in our packaging.
FSC stands for "Forest Stewardship Council". It is an international, non-commercial organization founded in 1993 to promote responsible forestry. FSC has developed a certification scheme that recognizes forestry operations that are sustainable, socially responsible and economically viable. |
Smurfit Kappa's production methods are also impressively environmentally friendly, using 50% renewable energy, 90% recycled water and only 1.8% of waste ends up in landfill.
But our commitment doesn't stop at choosing a green supplier. We also incorporate the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals into our operations and product range. We have worked hard to avoid the use of environmentally harmful or toxic copper-based blue colors in our packaging, and maintain a strict code of conduct and ensure that all our suppliers, contractors and partners comply with it. We value transparency and invite questions and feedback to maintain a transparent and collaborative environment.
UN Sustainable Development Goal 12 We strive to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns within our supply chain, and influence partners to do the same. |
By integrating environmentally friendly measures into all aspects of its business, Fell Tech demonstrates that technological innovation and environmental responsibility can and should go hand in hand. Together we contribute to a greener planet.
