What is the difference between Waterguard+ Wireless Pro and Waterguard+ Wireless

New Waterguard+ is available in the product packages Waterguard+ Wireless Pro and Waterguard+ Wireless.

Both configurations have exactly the same features and offer identical functions and performance for water detection and leak stopping.

The difference is that the Wireless Pro edition uses the central unit Linkbox+ 4G, while Linkbox+ WiFi is used in the Wireless edition.

For connection to BAS systems, Wireless Pro (Linkbox+ 4G) must be used.

Linkbox+ 4G has, in addition to all functions and features of Linkbox+ WiFi:

• Connection to SD systems via BACnet IP, read more here.
• Possibility of communication over 4G, enabling connection to the app and portal without a WiFi connection at the hub. Linkbox+ 4G automatically connects to the cloud.
• Possibility of integration with external systems, for example ventilation systems, through the Modbus RS-485 port
• Built-in backup battery that maintains internal communication between the central unit and wireless devices for up to 12 hours in the event of a power failure.
• Possibility of hidden cable installation using connectors on the back of the product in combination with a bracket with built-in power supply mounted in a wall box (wall box coming in 2025, if you have questions about your project about a wall box - contact customer service).
